Old and new names are still making news

Published: Tue, September 24, 2002 @ 12:00 a.m.

Fledgling makeup company Urban Decay and industry giant Revlon are locked in a legal battle over the rights to hot shades of nail polish, eye shadow and lipstick with such names as "Rust," "Bruise," "Roach" and "Plague."

Similar tones now are sold by both companies under different names.

And speaking of names: Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's -- but for heaven's sake, men, don't cut your hair like his. Not unless you've got a perfectly shaped head and model-gorgeous face, says Men's Health magazine, which consigned the Caesar to its "Tonsorial Hall of Shame."
