DEBORAH TAYLORSILAS BYRD JR.
ERIE, Pa. -- The marriage of Deborah Taylor of Erie and Silas Byrd Jr. of Youngstown was solemnized by the Rev. Barbara Wiley during a ceremony Aug. 17 at Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church.
The bride is a daughter of Bobbie Dixson and Billy Pinkston, both of Erie. The groom is a son of the late Thelma and Silas Byrd Sr., who had lived in Youngstown.
Maid of honor was Twan Taylor of Erie, daughter of the bride, and matron of honor was Sheila Smith, also of Erie.
Sharing the duties of best man were Michael Byrd of Erie and Randy Byrd of Youngstown, brothers of the groom.
The newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception held at the John F. Kennedy Center in Erie.
They plan a delayed honeymoon to Hawaii. The newlyweds live at 444 E. 12th St., Erie.
Mr. and Mrs. Byrd work at the Olive Garden restaurant in Millcreek, Pa.
