Sarvers to mark golden jubilee at dinner party
LUTZ, Fla. -- Former area residents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sarver Sr. of 1344 Edgewater Court will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 5 at a dinner at the Carlton Arms Club Room in Tampa, Fla.
Hosts for the event will be the couple's children, Bill Sarver Jr. of Tampa and Liz Sarver of Valrico, Fla., and their families. Three grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Sarver and the former Ginny Boylan were married Oct. 5, 1952, at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Youngstown. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and retired in 1990 from the East Ohio Gas Co., where he was a customer serviceman. He is a member of Masonic Lodge 615 and the Aut Mori Grotto.
His wife retired in 1994 from Discover Card Services, where she was a service representative for the eastern Ohio district.
The couple belong to Good Hope Lutheran Church in Boardman.
