WARREN -- The exchange of vows took place during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony Aug. 3 at First United Methodist Church as Kelli Balko of Warren and Joseph Komlanc of Niles were united in marriage by the Rev. John Benigas.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Balko of Warren and the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Komlanc of McDonald were honored during a reception at Packard Music Hall before leaving on a wedding trip to St. John's and Antigua.
Pearl beading enhanced the bodice of the bride's strapless A-line gown.
Dusty-rose gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Kimberly Hammonds and Francine Zelenak; the bridesmaids, Tammy Vukovich, Laurie Santone, Nikki Littleton, Nancy Housteau, Shannon Pearce, Mandy Layshack and Christine Ulrich; and the junior bridesmaid, Erin Vukovich. Flower girls were Alyssa Balko and Sydney Vukovich.
Joe Fallo served as best man, and groomsmen were Ryan Gray, David Vukovich, Stephen H. Balko, Brian Littleton, Ryan Rishel, Nick Logan, Giovanne Merlo and Michael Chuirazzi. Junior groomsman was Sean Hammonds, and ring bearer was Samuel Luther.
The bride holds a bachelor's degree in education from Youngstown State University and is a teacher with Hubbard Exempted Village Schools.
The groom, a sales coordinator with 84 Lumber in Austintown, attended YSU.
They live in Niles.
