CAMPBELL -- Gospel Temple Baptist Church was the setting at 3 p.m. Aug. 17 as Angela D. Miller, 1926 Chapel Hill Drive, Youngstown, and Anthony T. Venable, 216 Hamrock Drive, were united in marriage by the Rev. Willie Peterson.
After accepting congratulations during a reception at McMenamy's in Niles, the couple left on a Caribbean cruise.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Miller Sr., 435 Mistletoe Ave., and the groom is a son of John Venable Sr. of Maryland, and the late Barbara Venable.
Escorted by her father and her son, Arquise Miller, the bride wore a halter-style gown enhanced with pearls and featuring a chapel train.
A leaf-green gown was worn by the bride's cousin and honor attendant, April Sampson. Gowned in hunter green were the bridesmaids, Kimberly Clark, Tina Thomas, Frannie Hunter and the bride's goddaughter, Lakelia Clark. Flower girl was the groom's daughter, March & eacute; Venable.
John Gore served as best man, and groomsmen were Tony Venable, Chris Carson, Michael Venable and Greg Gregory, cousins of the groom. Ring bearer was Isaiah Penson, the bride's cousin, and ushers were Willie Sims, his cousin, and Antwan Naze.
Also participating were Anita Simmons and Tameeka Casey.
The bride and groom, who are autoworkers at General Motors Corp. in Lordstown, live at the groom's address.
