ASSOCIATIONS

XTrumbull-Mahoning-Ohio Association of Occupational Health Nurses will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Vernon's Cafe Banquet Center, Niles. A talk on eye care will be given by guest speaker, Jacqueline K. Owens. Cost is $20, and dinner reservations can be made with Ceil Clair, (330) 372-1304.

ATHLETIC GROUPS

XMcDonald Midget Football Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

XMcDonald Sideliners will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the high school.

AUXILIARIES

XITAM Auxiliary will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday with Sara Cheredar presiding. Election and installation of officers will take place. Lunch will be served with Josephine Croutch in charge.

XSt. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will begin its new season at a luncheon meeting at noon Monday in the second-floor dining rooms. There will be discussion of the apparel sale set for Sept. 17 and 18, and guest speaker will be Dan Memo, financial consultant with Solomon Smith Barney Inc. on "Investing in Finances."

XVFW Triangle Post 2799 Auxiliary will meet at the post home, 3162 E. South Range Road, New Springfield at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Dues will be accepted.

XVFW 3538 Auxiliary of Struthers will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the post home. Plans for the card party and Chinese auction scheduled for 6:30 p.m.. Oct. 29 will be discussed. Dues are payable. A social will follow.

CLASSES

XCampbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1939 will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Smaldino's Family Restaurant, 10076 Market St., North Lima. Guests are welcome. XAustintown II Homemakers will meet Thursday at the home of Margaret Kollmorgan. Dues will be collected, and assisting the hostess will be Dolly Conn. Prospective members may call the Mahoning County Extension Bureau at (330) 533-5339 for information.

XDaughters of American Revolution, Mahoning Chapter, will meet at noon Tuesday at Canfield Presbyterian Church with Joanne Collier presiding. Charen Fink will present a program on "Civil War Medicines." Blanche Hillman will present the president general's message, and Marjorie Halter will give a national defense report.

XThe K-C Ettes of Poland Council 4471 will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the council home. A get-acquainted salad bar luncheon will be furnished by the committee. Prospective members may attend. Crazy bridge will be played.

XParents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

XQuota International of Youngstown will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Park Vista Retirement Center's craft room. Plans will be made to attend the international convention in Pittsburgh. The upcoming fund-raiser will be discussed.

XWelcome Wagon Club of Canfield will hold its first meeting of the season at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Canfield, where members and prospective members will gather for the annual potluck dinner. XA meeting of the Croatian Fraternal Union, Lodge 185, Campbell, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Our Place Restaurant on McCartney Road.

GUILDS

XMcDonald Literary Guild will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday at Woodland Park United Methodist Church.

XWestern Reserve Knitting Guild will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Park, Canfield. Three short workshops will be held. Participants should take worsted yarn and needles and check the newsletter for details. Members also should take Canfield Fair entries to the meeting to display.

POLITICAL CLUBS

XStruthers Federated Democratic Women's Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Struthers City Hall with Dorothy McLaughlin presiding. New members are welcome.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

XCatholic Daughter of the Americas, Court St. Anne 1875, will meet following noon Mass Monday at the Holy Name of Jesus Social Hall. There will be a show and tell program. Hostesses will be Ann Tumpak and Mary Ann Barto.

XMount Carmel Society of St. Rose Church will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the parish house.

XSt. Michael Altar Guild will meet at 6 p.m. Monday for its annual salad smorgasbord to be conducted by Deacon Tom Soich. After dinner there will be a program by Deborah April of Outreach Hearing. Pauline Weldon will preside for the business meeting, and hostesses will be Mercia Miner, Julia Virgalitte and Mary Ann Pavalko.

XSt. Monica Guild of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday with president Alice Rossi presiding. Plans will be made for the anniversary dinner in October. Hostesses will be Liz Mirone, Mary Nicolli, Betty Nohra and Rita Nolfi.

XSt. Rose Catholic Women's Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the parish house dining room.

XSt. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Rose church will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

XGirard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Little Peppino's, 728 N. State St.

XGirard-Liberty Rotary will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the MetroPlex Centre, Liberty.

XThe Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International will hold an initiation dinner Wednesday at Colonial Catering, Canfield. Initiation will be at 6 p.m. with dinner following.
