McDONALD -- Living in Lexington, Va., after a honeymoon in Aruba are Gregory Edward Van Hoey and his bride, the former Nicole Marie Russo, who were united in marriage Aug. 10 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
The Revs. Daniel Kulesa and James Bacik presided at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and a reception was held afterward at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre, Liberty.
Parents of the couple are Anthony and Kathleen Russo, 530 Dakota Ave., and Edward and Marsha Van Hoey, 2665 Wadsworth, Redford, Mich.
The bride's sleeveless gown was embellished with beaded Alencon lace and featured a satin tank-style bodice and a chiffon A-line skirt that flowed into a chapel train.
Wearing periwinkle-blue gowns were Jennie Saviers, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Elaine Van Hoey, the groom's sister; Karin Sherr; and Michelle Minske. Flower girls were Hannah and Calli Kowach.
Serving as best man was Rohan Kamath, and groomsmen were Kevin Van Hoey, the groom's brother; Richard Russo, brother of the bride; and Chris Mack, her cousin.
The bride graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences and a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is a pharmacist at Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Lexington.
The groom, a third-year law student at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, graduated from the University of Toledo with bachelor's degrees in political science and economics.
