YOUNGSTOWN -- St. Columba Cathedral was the setting at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 3 for the wedding of Michelle A. Tamburino, 15828 Shenandoah Drive, Berlin Center, and Eric R. Bilas, 5690 S. Pricetown Road.
Monsignor Lawrence Fye presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Rich and Patsy Tamburino of the Shenandoah Drive address and the son of Ron and Connie Bilas, 5843 Gault Road, North Jackson.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman, and afterward they left on a cruise to the southern Caribbean.
The bride's white, strapless, A-line gown was embellished with a pattern of bugle beads and embroidery that outlined the neckline and flowed down the back to the chapel train.
Sunflower-colored gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Jill Tamburino, and the bridesmaids, Stephanie Speece, Ronda Hawkins and Renee Kren.
Serving as best man was the groom's brother, Shawn Bilas, and groomsmen were the bride's brother, Mario Tamburino, and Jeff Schafer and John Overly.
The bride received an associate degree in prekindergarten programs and a bachelor's in early childhood education at Youngstown State University.
The groom received his teaching certificate in secondary comprehensive social studies from YSU and a bachelor's in communications-political science from John Carroll University, University Heights.
