MARY ELIZABETH LYNNMATTHEW SAMUELSON
URBANA, Ill. -- Mary Elizabeth Lynn, 30 E. Mason St., Easton, Ill., became the bride of Matthew Magee Samuelson, 13716 Spring Mill Blvd., Carmel, Ind., Aug. 17 during a ceremony at Wesley United Methodist Church.
Chaplain John H. DuVal officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony, and later the newlyweds received guests during a reception at the Illini Union Ballroom at the University of Illinois. Since returning from a honeymoon in Jamaica, they are living in Indianapolis.
Parents of the couple are Jerry and Beverly Lynn of the Easton address and Wynne and Nancy Samuelson of the Carmel address, formerly of Canfield.
Embroidery, Austrian crystals and pearls embellished the bride's gown of white matte satin.
Tamara Young was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jenny Lynn, the bride's sister; Elizabeth Samuelson, the groom's sister; Angela Morris; and Lyndsey Shelton. They wore navy-blue dresses. Flower girls were Megan Bleakley, his cousin, and Kaitlyn Morris.
The groom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Jason Terrell, Wes Huesman, Jay Bennett and David Pintaric. Ring bearer was Austin Mink, and ushers were Gary Lynn and Mark Pierson, the bride's uncles.
Mr. and Mrs. Samuelson graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and is a commercial sales engineer with Carrier Corp. in Indianapolis. The bride, who has a bachelor's degree, is director of development at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Indianapolis.
