YOUNGSTOWN -- Nuptial vows were exchanged by Marnee Marie Csejtey, Taft Avenue., and Michael James Sweeney, South Avenue, Boardman, as they were united in marriage by the Rev. Edward Noga on April 13 during a 1 p.m. ceremony at St. Patrick Church.
The daughter of Alice H. Csejtey, also of Taft Avenue, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. William T. Sweeney, Nova Lane, Poland, accepted congratulations during a reception at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park, then left on a cruise to Mexico.
They live at the groom's address.
The bride's white silk gown featured a sleeveless tank-style bodice. It was accented with embroidery at the waistline, and the box-pleated skirt flowed into a cathedral train.
Cornflower-blue gowns were worn by Aimee Shogren, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Holly Radcliff, Mandi Bero, Kris Tosti, Kerry Kosmo and Shannon Tirone. Flower girl was Jessica Tirone.
Serving as best man was Shawn Murray, and groomsmen were Brian DelFraino, Patrick Klingensmith, Mark McDonough, Robert Fox and Nicholas Tirone.
The bride, a first-grade teacher at Immaculate Conception School, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.
The groom served with the Ohio National Guard 838th Division of Austintown. He earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice at YSU and is a patrolman with Poland Village.
