HUBBARD -- A test run of a LifeFlight helicopter will be May 13 at Hubbard Community Pool.
Greg Filipski, pool aquatics director, said a program will be presented at 12:30 p.m. and the Allegheny General Hospital LifeFlight helicopter will arrive between 1 and 1:30 p.m.
Filipski said the program is designed to establish a global positioning site at the pool in case of an emergency and provide training for lifeguard and emergency responder students.
Students will learn how to coordinate a flight, establish a landing zone and practice loading techniques.
