Service, lunch mark Vegh 50th at El Emeth

YOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Bill Vegh, 245 Richards Drive, were honored July 6 during a service and lunch at Temple El Emeth for the observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Hosts for the event were the honorees' children and their spouses, Judy Joffe of Westborough, Mass.; Rochelle and Sam Miller of Girard; and Marc and Lisa Vegh of Midwest City, Okla.

The former Lucille Blau and Mr. Vegh exchanged marriage vows June 29, 1952, at Agudas Israel Synagogue in Hazelton, Pa.

Mrs. Vegh is a homemaker and volunteer at El Emeth and the temple sisterhood. She was the co-owner of R & amp;L Fabrics in Hubbard.

Now retired, Mr. Vegh worked at Saramar Aluminum in Warren and U.S. Extrusion in Liberty. He is a Holocaust survivor.

Mr. and Mrs. Vegh are members of El Emeth and Children of Israel Congregation.

The family circle includes seven grandchildren.
