IN THE CUP! Area Holes in One

Merl Gay of Boardman aced the No. 15 hole at Reserve Run Golf Course. He used a 9-iron on the 127-yard hole. The shot was witnessed by Dominic Pavis and Matt Sertich.
Bill Heintzelman of Canfield aced the 165-yard eighth hole at Tippecanoe Country Club, using a 5-wood. Witnesses were Jerry Ricketts, Dave Lewis and Ed Timar.
Rae Bennehoof of Boardman at Venago course in Pittsburgh on the 135-yard hole. Witnesses were Billie Nelson, Ginny Williams Leslie Coalmer. It was the first ace of Bennehoof's career.
Ron J. Orr of Newton Falls made hole in one 127-yard, No. 17, using an 8 iron at Old Dutch Golf Course at Lake Milton. Witness was his father Ron D. Orr.
Rich Herman had a hole-in-one on the No. 5 hole at Salem Golf Club. He used a 7-iron on the 145-yard hole. His shot was witnessed by Bill Nethen, Roy Williams and Craig Weaver,
Mill Creek Par-3: Pete Bernat of Youngstown, No. 6, 63-yards, pitching wedge; Craig Rupert of Youngstown, No. 2, 80 yards, pitching wedge; David Heginbotham of Youngstown, No. 7, 70-yards, pitching wedge; Robert Getsy of Youngstown, No. 13, 82-yards, pitching wedge.
