Thefts from motor vehicles are the focus of Mercer County Crime Solvers this week:
Details: Police are investigating thefts from at least a dozen parked vehicles early in the morning of July 22 in an area bordered by Stambaugh Avenue, South Oakland Avenue, Budd Street and George Street. Most of the vehicles were left unlocked, some with their windows down, and a variety of items was taken, including money, compact discs and tools. Some of the items were found strewn on sidewalks and in yards in the targeted area. Police said a group of juveniles was spotted in the area around the time of the thefts.
