Auto theft: A 1987 Olds Cutlass Cierra was stolen from a residence in the 40 block of Dearborn Street.
Assault: A woman in the 400 block of Dearborn Street said her former boyfriend used a belt to beat her up. The victim suffered various bruises and welts on her arms and legs.
Vandalism: Someone damaged potted flowers at a residence in the 400 block of North Avenue.
Breaking and entering: Nothing was taken from a vehicle after it was broken into while parked at Burger King, 3020 1/2 Northgate Ave.
Vandalism: Someone flattened a van's rear tires in the 100 block of South Davis Street.
Robbery/assault: A Painesville, Ohio, woman said her former boyfriend robbed her in the vehicle she used to offer him a ride, and that the man took an undetermined amount of cash. The woman also said he struck her and grabbed her arm, causing several scratches on her wrist.
Criminal damaging: Someone smashed a vehicle's back window in the 10 block of River Street.
Theft: A bicycle was stolen at Videoland video store, 122 E. Howard St.
Auto theft: A 1995 Pontiac Grand Am was stolen from a residence in the 900 block of Woodlawn Avenue.
Theft/criminal damaging: A car's back door window was broken, and a cellular phone was taken from it on River Street.
Criminal damaging: Someone tossed a beer can and broke a window at Pleasant Valley Church, 2055 Pleasant Valley Road.
Vandalism: Someone tried to pry open a video drop box and damaged its door at Movie Zone, 1488 W. Liberty St.
Theft: A motorized grocery cart was reported missing from Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave.
Domestic violence: Police arrested an 18-year-old Girard man on a domestic violence charge after his girlfriend said he grabbed her by the throat and shoved her onto a couch after the two argued.
Criminal damaging: Someone used two pieces of a brick to damage a vehicle's windshield and driver's-side door window while it was parked at Spinners, 1482 W. Liberty St.
Criminal damaging: A woman reported someone used a vehicle to damage her mailbox in the 1100 block of Academy Drive.
Burglary: Someone entered a residence in the 4100 block of Logan Gate Road and stole five wristwatches, a motorcycle key, a key to a storage bin and $10 in cash.
Auto theft: A van belonging to Goodwill Industries, 2747 Belmont Ave., was reported stolen from a parking lot at Aim Nationalease, 1500 Trumbull Ave.
Theft: A cellular phone and several accessories were stolen from a vehicle in the 3900 block of Belmont Avenue.
Warrant: Police arrested a 19-year-old North Bloomfield man at the Trumbull County Jail on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Warrant: Police arrested a 20-year-old Warren man on an assault charge at a residence after responding to a 911 call.
Possible burglary: A man in the 600 block of Lloyd Street reported someone tried to break into his home and let his dog out.
Theft: A man in the 500 block of West Liberty Street reported someone stole a concrete angel decoration from his mother's gravesite at Hubbard Union Cemetery, 210 Oakdale Ave.
Theft: A seat cover was removed from a seat at Taco Bell, 730 W. Liberty St.
Assault: A woman reported that a man assaulted her 21-year-old son. The victim, who was at Northside Medical Center receiving treatment, had nine stitches in his head and a possible broken jaw.
Theft: Various personal items were removed from a car in the 100 block of Scott Street.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 20 block of First Street reported someone tossed eggs at her motor home and her daughter's car.
