CANFIELD CITY

July 17

Criminal mischief: Burn markings were left on a garage door and a small section of the door was shattered after someone apparently taped fireworks to it in the 700 block of Blueberry Hill Drive.

July 18

Theft: A tabletop saw, a tabletop miter saw and two snowblowers were reported stolen from a storage shed at the Christoff Corp., 565 E. Main St., by the apartment complex manager.

AUSTINTOWN

July 15

Burglary: Several items were taken from a residence in the 100 block of Westminster Avenue.

Criminal damaging: The window of a residence was damaged in the 400 block of Central Ave.

Stolen property: A suspect was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property in the 500 block of Carlin Drive.

Counterfeit: A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A girl's Huffy bike was stolen from the 4000 block of Maureen Drive.

Theft: A summons was issued for arrest of man in a theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A paint-ball gun was taken from an unlocked vehicle at Valvoline, 4822 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A summons was issued for the arrest of a 68-year-old man in a theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A Pacific mountain bike was reported stolen from outside Fitch High School, 4562 Falcon Drive.

Theft: A first-aid kit was stolen from an auto after the window was broken out at Cracker Barrel, 5600 Interstate Blvd.

Explosive device: A mailbox was damaged in the 2000 block of Vollmer Drive.

Warrant: A 21-year-old man was charged with domestic violence based on an Austintown police warrant.

July 16

Attempted break-in: Would-be thieves attempted to break into a structure at Champ Field, 600 N. Raccoon Road.

Explosive device: A mailbox was damaged in the 2000 block of Meridian Road.

Burglary: A television was taken from a garage in the 200 block of Woodgate Street.

Criminal damage: Trailer seals were broken on the rear doors of a truck at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

July 17

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the 30 block of Lexington Place.

Abandoned vehicles: A 1986 Plymouth and a 1989 Chevrolet were found at the Deer Creek Apartments.

Theft: Money and miscellaneous items were stolen from the 4000 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Criminal damage: A pond was damaged at Emmanuel Ministries, Kirk Road.

Theft: A Honda generator was taken from an unlocked vehicle at Lyden Oil, 3711 Le Harps Road.

Criminal damaging: Nails were found in a tire in the 6000 block of Fairview Road.

Drug offenses: An Austintown man was arrested on minor misdemeanor charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia, and a Youngstown woman was charged with drug abuse, at Potomac Avenue and S. Edgehill.

July 18

Theft: An AM-FM compact disc player was stolen from an auto in the 3000 block of Kirk Road.

July 19

Summons: A male suspect was issued a summons on disorderly conduct charges and a second male was issued a summons on charges of drug abuse of marijuana at The Mill, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Felonious assault: Someone fired four shots from a revolver at a man in the roadway at South Raccoon Road and Burkey Road.

Theft: Tools were stolen from a vehicle at Don Walter Kitchen Distributors, 260 Victoria Road.

Criminal damaging: A window was broken in the 5000 block of Willowcrest Drive.

Drug offense: A Youngstown man was charged with drug abuse of cocaine and marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at Oakwood Avenue and Lexington Avenue.

Breaking and entering: Office was entered and money stolen at Four Seasons, 4222 New Road.

Theft: A shop-vac was stolen from Big Lots, 1730 S. Raccoon Road. The suspect drove a Dodge Omni.

Theft: A weed eater and a lawn tractor were stolen from the 300 block of N. Main Street.

Theft: A gasoline drive-off was reported at Sunoco, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

July 20

Felonious assault: A woman was arrested on a warrant after another suspect attempted to strike her with a vehicle in the 40 block of North Edgehill Avenue.

Criminal damage: A gazing ball and yard lights were stolen from Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Misuse: An Apple computer valued at $3,842 was bought with a credit card without the knowledge of the cardholder in the 5000 block of Willowcrest Drive.

Theft: Cash and rings were stolen from an apartment in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Theft from auto: An Alltel cell phone and 25 compact discs were stolen in the 200 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle window and a tire were damaged at Leslie's Lounge, 169 S. Four Mile Run Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle mirror was damaged in the 7000 block of Regal Drive.

July 21

Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged with a bat in the 100 block of Country Green Drive.

Theft: A 47-year-old man was arrested on a theft charge at K-Mart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: The lock was pulled on an auto and a compact disc player and compact discs were stolen from residential 4000 block of Pembrook.

Theft: A ceramic angel statue and yard lights were stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Westminster Avenue.
