Report of damage, theft
AUSTINTOWN -- A 22-year-old Pembrook Drive woman reported her car was broken into and several items taken, including more than 200 CDs.
Reports show the vehicle was entered sometime between 6 and 9:47 p.m. Sunday after someone forced open the driver's side door. An AM/FM CD player and the CDs, valued at more than $2,600, were taken, and the door and dash were damaged.
Charged to account
AUSTINTOWN -- A Willowcrest Drive woman reported someone changed the address of her Mastercard and charged a computer on it.
The 45-year-old woman told police she called GM Mastercard on Saturday to inquire why she had not received a statement this month, and was told the address had been changed to Hawthorne, Calif., on June 25.
Further investigation showed an Apple computer, totaling $3,842, was charged to the account July 12.
Police are investigating.
Man says he was hit
AUSTINTOWN -- A 26-year-old Youngstown man reported being hit several times and forced out of The Mill on South Raccoon Road by three or four bouncers.
The Cider Mill Crossing man told police he was at the business around 7 p.m. Friday talking to a group of people when the bouncers grabbed him from behind, forced him into a corner area of the bar, struck him on the left side of the face, then forced him out the door.
Reports show the man suffered a black eye and swelling.
Police are still investigating.
