XBoardman South Chapter 4545, AARP, will not meet in August. The next meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 5 at the Boardman Holiday Inn. XA meeting of Brownlee Woods Seniors will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Community Church of Christ on Midlothian Boulevard. Crafts and cards are on the program. The group will have a picnic featuring a boxed chicken dinner at noon Aug. 6 at fellowship hall. The cost is $4 and reservations are due by July 30.
XCommercial Intertech SOAR Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday at the Sam Camens Center. Lou Pizzuto will preside, and reports will be given by Roberta Shick and Gloria Wielbruda. A luncheon will be served, and hostesses will be Mrs. Wielbruda and Lynn Arquilla. A Chinese auction will be held, and plans for the Aug. 27 picnic will be discussed. All retirees are welcome.

XSenior activities at the Jewish Community Center for the week are: Monday, talk with social workers from 11 to 11:45 a.m. followed by a noon dairy lunch of split pea soup, chef's salad, cottage cheese and dessert; and Wednesday, a noon meat lunch of barley-mushroom soup, turkey-salad sandwich, oven-browned potatoes and cherry tart.
XLiberty Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Church Hill United Methodist Church. Members are to take a sack lunch. Beverages will be provided by the hosts, Hilda Flower, Clarence McQuiston, Magda Roth and June Steinbaugh. The program will be music by Dorothy Patterson.

XRoyal Seniors will meet at 10:45 a.m. Aug. 5 at The Elm Tree in Struthers with John Alfona presiding. Reports will be given by Lee Alfona and Angelo Diana. Cards and bingo will be played.
