CANFIELD -- Apostle Wayman Thomas officiated at 3 p.m. July 20 at Old North Church for the wedding of Gloria Davis, 6128 Tippecanoe Road, and Lock P. Beachum Jr., 787 Eastbrooke Trail, Poland.
The bride is a daughter of Mrs. John G. Davis of Florida and the late Mr. Davis. Mr. Beachum is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lock Beachum Sr. of Youngstown.
The couple were honored at a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
They will live at the groom's address.
Anita Traylor of Boardman was matron of honor. She wore an ice-blue and silver gown, as did the bridesmaids, Nelda Sims of Maryland; Rhonda Williams of Youngstown, the bride's cousin; Jenice Phillips of Youngstown, the groom's sister; Monica Fletcher of Youngstown; and Pam Marrow of Youngstown.
Best man was Brandon Beachum of Youngstown, the groom's son, and groomsmen were Kelvin King of Charlotte, N.C., and Kareem Hickman, Luther Stubbs, Duane Marrow and David Harris, all of Youngstown. Ushers were Wesley Traylor of Boardman and William Peace of Youngstown.
Mrs. Beachum holds a degree in marketing-management from Youngstown State University and is employed at Anthem Blue Cross & amp; Blue Shield in Youngstown.
Her husband graduated from Miami University in Oxford with a degree in political science. He is president of Patterquise in Youngstown.
