YSU trustees board

YOUNGSTOWN -- Gov. Bob Taft has appointed Salem Mayor Larry DeJane to a nine-year term on the Youngstown State University board of trustees. DeJane replaces Ruth Wilkes of Poland on the nine-member governing board. YSU President David Sweet noted that DeJane's appointment means Columbiana County will now have a representative on the board.

Taft also appointed Matthew Pastier of Salem as a student representative on the YSU trustees board, replacing Mollie McGovern. A junior studying criminal justice at YSU, Pastier is a YSU Student Government representative and a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity and Alpha Phi Sigma criminal justice honor society.
