DENVER -- The marriage of Katie McNabb and Mike Nery was solemnized by the Rev. Gary Copeland during a 4 p.m. ceremony June 8 at Phipps Mansion where a reception was held immediately afterward.
The couple left on a wedding trip to Hawaii and live at 1044 S. Jackson St.
Parents of the bride are Susan Wilson, 319 Overcreek Drive, Richardson, Texas, and John Mc-Nabb, 6006 Coral Ridge Road, Houston. The groom is a son of Becky and Victor W. Nery, 94 Manor Drive, Columbiana.
The bride's strapless eggshell silk organza gown featured a hand-embroidered bodice, a full skirt and a sweep train.
The honor attendant, Natalie Harrison of Houston, wore a silver gown as did the bridesmaids, Jacque Campbell of Denver, Hallie Giuliano of Reston, Va., and Elaine Granmayeh of Houston.
The duties of best man were performed by Tucker Cope of Columbiana, and serving as groomsmen were Dave Nery of Goldsboro, N.C., and Victor L. Nery of Columbiana, brothers of the groom; and Adam Nowak of San Francisco.
The bride graduated from Duke University in Durham, N.C., with a bachelor's degree in economics. She is an institutional equity salesperson with Bear, Stearns and Co.
The groom graduated from Williams College in William-stown, Mass., with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He manages a private investment fund in Denver.
