Army Navy Auxiliary 29 represented at annual encampment in Hudson
YOUNGSTOWN -- Army Navy Auxiliary 29 was represented by Nancy Weimer, president, and Patricia Baun at an annual encampment held by the Department of Ohio Army and Navy Union, USA Inc., June 20-23 in Hudson.
James Pantolone and William Goron, both of Niles, served as chairman and co-chairman respectively at the event. William Kramer of Niles served as commander and Linda Hartenstein of Canton was lady president.
Elected as department officers were: Kenneth McCullough of Dover, commander; Betty Jo Biddle of Warren, lady president; Sharon Lissimore of McKinley Heights, senior vice president; Corrine Walser of Canton, junior vice president; Nancy Reed of Stow, secretary; and Patty Cochran of Akron, treasurer.
Participating in the program were Jackie Baun of Youngstown, vocalist, and Lynn Cowels of Niles and Carolyn Murphy of Youngstown, color bearers.
National Lady President JoAnn Kleyman of Bolivar will attend the Auxiliary 29 meeting Monday. Members are to be in uniform and are to provide the luncheon and gifts.
