YOUNGSTOWN -- Allison Balciar and Jarred Finney exchanged wedding vows June 8 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park with the Rev. Chuck Moffett officiating.
Parents of the couple are Paul and Diane Balciar of Canfield and Glenn and Beverly Finney of Morristown, Tenn.
The couple were honored afterward at a reception at The Butler Institute of American Art.
They are living in Franklin, Tenn., since returning from a honeymoon to Amelia Island, Fla.
The bride's gown, fashioned of diamond-white silk-faced satin, featured an off-the-shoulder rolled neckline tipped with hand-rolled roses. The dropped waist led to a ballgown skirt of layered tulle edged in satin.
Lori Jones of Canfield was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Susan Heilman of Minneapolis and Meredith Reed of Nashville, Tenn. They wore spearmint-colored gowns.
The groom's brother, David Finney of Knoxville, Tenn., performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Marty Reed of Nashville and John Paul Newport of Memphis, Tenn.
Mrs. Finney holds a bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro, Tenn., where she is pursuing a master's degree. She is a first-grade teacher in Williamson County, Tenn.
Her husband graduated from Middle Tennessee State and is a systems analyst for the state of Tennessee in Nashville.
