Struthers St. Anthony's 12, Niles Ianazone's Pizza 2 -- Chris Anzevino and Gordon Slanina had two hits each for St. Anthony's (21-2) while Steven Streb and Joe DeMello drove in two runs each. Slanina had the complete game pitching victory, allowing only three hits. Nick Aulet had a hit and drove in a run for Niles.
Canfield Robert Senn 17, Salem VFW 12 -- Paul Sabol's three hits included two triples. Bryan Stolte also had three hits and scored twice. Scott Harmon scored three runs while Jonathan Bastian and John Manzoian each scored twice. For Salem, Trevin Wood and Greg Woolman each had three hits. Sean McKee, Lory Rickman and Greg Shadle each scored two runs.
Valley Sting 3, Ohio Stars 2 -- The Sting's 18-younger team won the Ohio Stars NSA qualifier tournament when Amanda Ford singled home Lindsay Gaudiose with the winning run in the eighth inning. The Stars took a 2-0 lead in the first inning when Whitney Zunic and C.J. Calabrese connected for two-out RBI singles. Jessica Lamport tripled and scored the Sting's first run on Ford's third-inning hit. Gaudiose tied the game in the sixth inning by scoring on a wild pitch. Sting defeated Top Guns, 4-0, and Richmond Blaze, 5-0, to advance to the finale. Stars defeated Ohio Magic.

Canfield Women Democrats 11, Struthers Clemente Funeral Home 4 -- Winning pitcher Julie Cooper contributed two triples, a double and a single. Nicole Beck, Megan Tomaino, Natalie Fox and Dana Elias each had two hits while Cassie Mosure doubled for Canfield. Meghan Kunzer's two hits for Struthers included a triple. Amanda Clawson and Mel Chudik each had two hits while Alyce Kunzer doubled.
