Wick Avenue churches have planned the following events in conjunction with the Festival of the Arts

Wick Avenue churches have planned the following events in conjunction with the Festival of the Arts to be held July 13 and 14:

July 13: Rummage sales will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., and First Christian Church, 562 Wick Ave., with both churches open for tours; a Gospel Rib Festival will be held from noon to 6 p.m. at New Beginnings Ministry, 322 Wick Ave.

July 14: Worship services will be held at 8 and 10 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 10 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 210 Wick Ave., and 11 a.m. at New Beginnings Ministry and First Christian Church. A potluck lunch will follow services at First Christian Church, and First Presbyterian Church will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for anyone interested in learning more about its Labyrinth, a replica of the one in Chartres Cathedral in France.
