AUSTINTOWN -- Melissa Jean Glista, daughter of Leonard and Velma Glista, 6237 Kirk Road, Canfield, and James Eric Henderson, 22 Howard St., Columbiana, son of Kim and Joe Gray of Navarre and James Henderson of Columbiana, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. June 1 at St. Joseph Church by Deacon Michael Roberts.
The bride's gown featured spaghetti straps, and the bodice and tulle skirt were enhanced with beaded lace.
Lavender gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Jessica Hively of North Jackson, and the bridesmaids, Nicole Glista of Canfield, also her sister, and her cousins, Kim Glista of Canfield and Kelly Traywick of Boardman. Flower girls were Jacalyn and Jordyn Patterson, both of Austintown.
Serving as best man was Kevin Goist of Columbiana, and groomsmen were Travis Newman of East Palestine, cousin of the groom, and Dennis Shotts and Dave Johnstone, both of Columbiana. Ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Robbie Hively of North Jackson.
Afterward a reception was held in their honor at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.
The couple live at the Howard Street address.
The bride, a certified medical assistant with Advanced Dermatology in Boardman, attended Youngstown State University and graduated from the adult education program at Mahoning County Joint Vocational School.
The groom is employed at Geller-Warden Electric in Canfield.
