BOARDMAN -- Amy L. Gustavson, daughter of Karen Gustavson of Titusville, Pa., and Michael R. Garland, son of Gary and Patty Garland, 473 Garver Drive, Boardman, were married at 4 p.m. May 25 at Bethel Lutheran Church by the Rev. Paul Burgeson.
A reception followed at The Elm Tree in Struthers, and the couple honeymooned on the Mayan Riviera.
They are living at 37 Homestead Drive, Boardman.
The bride wore an ivory A-line gown designed with a sweetheart neckline and accented with rum-pink roses.
The bride's cousin, Jennifer Quezada, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Elizabeth Gustavson, her sister, and Teri Myers, Nicole McGary and JoAnn Blakeman. They wore blush-colored gowns. The bride's cousin, Lauren Wellman, was flower girl.
James Garland performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Bryan Blakeman, Rick Kamperman, Jamie Bates and Patrick Ongley. The bride's cousin, Zachary Wellman, was ring bearer, and ushers were her cousins, Scott Quezada and Ryan Wellman.
A graduate of Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., with a bachelor's degree in broadcast communications, Mrs. Garland is a news videographer with WKBN-TV 27.
Her husband is studying telecommunications at Youngstown State University and is a graphic artist at WKBN.
