Air Force officerto speak in program
VIENNA -- Chief Master Sgt. Cheryl D. Adams, command chief master sergeant for the Air Force reserve command, will be the guest speaker at the 910th Airlift Wing Annual Black History Month program 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station Eagle's Nest Club.
Adams is the third command chief the AFRC has had since its inception as a major command of the Air Force in 1997 and is the first black woman to be selected as command chief for a major command.
Also performing at the program will be members of the Community Fellowship Chapel, Akron; gospel rap artists from Buffalo, N.Y.; and the Harambee Youth Dancers of Youngstown.
