AUSTINTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McGahagan of Austintown are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Christina McGahagan, and Jonathan Koontz, also of Austintown, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Koontz of Diamond.
The bride-elect, a server at Antone's Italian Cafe, is attending Youngstown State University.
The prospective groom served with the U.S. Navy from 1994 to 1999. He attended YSU and is a sheet-metal worker with Roth Bros. in Youngstown.
The couple have chosen May 25 for their 1:30 p.m. wedding at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and for their evening reception at the Maronite Center, Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for both.
