TRANSFER, Pa. -- The Reynolds High basketball team outscored Mercer 44-14 in the second half Friday for a 70-40 victory.

The Raiders (8-9, 3-2 in Mercer County Athletic Conference) avenged a 63-57 loss to the Mustangs (8-9, 3-2).

"We pressured them to death," Reynolds coach Don Andres said. "Our players are quick as cats and they couldn't handle our pressure."

Deacon Jones led the Raiders with 33 points. Tom McEntire netted 16.

Leading Mercer were Sean Berdi with 12 points and Tom Bestwick and Dave Chaussard with 10 apiece.
