LaBrae rallies in fourth to down Girard, 66-57

LEAVITTSBURG -- Behind 49-46 at the end of three quarters, LaBrae outscored Girard 20-8 in the final eight minutes for a 66-57 victory Friday in the Trumbull Athletic Conference.
Tony Watkins paced LaBrae (9-3, 6-2) with 14 points. R.J. Grimm added 13, while Tim Littell and Tony Watkins finished with 12 apiece.
Water Jones led the Indians (4-8, 2-6) with 20 points.
Champion 53, Lakeview 45: CORTLAND -- The teams played on even terms for the first and fourth quarters, but the Flashes out-scored the Bulldogs 23-13 over the middle two periods.
Mike Wortman scored 14 points, Kevin Stingel had 12 and Mark Kish 11 for the Flashes (6-5, 4-4).
Brent McCullough scored 10 points for the Bulldogs (6-5, 5-3).
Champion was up 11 points early in the fourth quarter, but the Bulldogs cut it to two points. The Flashes made 15 of 23 free throws down the stretch.
Liberty 54, Brookfield 50: BROOKFIELD -- Liberty did not score for the first six minutes of the fourth quarter and survived a scare from Brookfield.
The Leopards (3-9, 3-5) took a 47-35 lead into the final quarter and scored seven points in the final two minutes. Jeff Schnall led Liberty with 18 points and Bradley Fletcher added 14 points and six rebounds.
Julian Hayes and Chad Fonagy each scored 13 points for Brookfield (6-6, 2-6).
