F.N.B. Corp. reportsincreased earnings
NAPLES, Fla. -- F.N.B. Corp., the parent company of First National Bank of Pennsylvania, reported core operating earnings of $13.9 million, or 52 cents a share, in the fourth quarter, compared with $11.3 million, or 43 cents a share, in the fourth quarter of 2000.
For the year, core operating earnings were $51.8 million, or $1.95 a share, compared with $44 million, or $1.68 a share, in 2000.
Fourth quarter earningsincrease at Sky Financial
BOWLING GREEN -- Sky Financial Group, the parent company of Sky Bank, reported fourth quarter operating earnings of $31.9 million, or 39 cents a share, compared with $30.7 million, or 37 cents a share, in the same quarter the previous year.
For the year, operating earnings were $120.3 million, or $1.45 a share, compared with $118.1 million, or $1.39 a share, for 2000.
FirstEnergy declarescommon stock dividend
AKRON -- FirstEnergy Corp. declared a dividend of 37.5 cents a share of common stock, payable March 1.
