YOUNGSTOWN -- Election of officers for the 2002 season was the highlight of a Jan. 7 meeting held by North Side Kiwanis at the West Port Restaurant on Belmont Avenue.

Named as president of the organization was Jonette Edmonds, assistant vice president and community reinvestment officer at National City Bank.

Chosen as her associate officers were Don Engel, secretary; Mitch Cohn, treasurer; and Dr. Walter Malkin, consulting officer.

It was reported that the club raised $1,800 during the past year for support of the Youngstown Playhouse and that $5,000 was donated to Parkview Counseling Agency.
