Rayen bounced Campbell Memorial by 40 points.
CAMPBELL -- The Rayen School out-scored Campbell Memorial 19-0 in the third quarter and went on to post a 72-32 victory over the Red Devils in a non-conference girls basketball game Wednesday.
Senior Cherell Triplett recorded a triple-double with 26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 steals and she also had five blocked shots, to lead the Tigers (9-4). Taniesha Holland added 17 points, seven steals and four assists, while Erica Wilson scored 10 points.
Tierra McIntosh led Campbell Memorial (3-9) with 10 points. Shannon Pavlansky scored nine points and grabbed nine rebounds.
Poland 58, Holy Name 52: POLAND -- Julie Gallo scored 22 points and host Poland held a 31-3 edge in free throw attempts to hand No. 12-ranked Parma Heights Holy Name (Div. I) its first loss.
Kristy Gaudiose added 14 points for the Bulldogs (9-2), who struggled at the foul line, shooting just 14-for-31 (45 percent) and 4-for-10 in the fourth quarter.
Tracey Presinski scored 18 points to lead Holy Name (11-1).
Ursuline 75, Struthers 44: YOUNGSTOWN -- Ursuline had four players in double figures and out-scored Struthers 48-20 in the second and third quarters.
Courtney Davidson led the Irish (10-3) with 25 points. Ashley Parry scored 17 points, Christina Cook scored 16 and Cathie Walsh added 10. Mahogani Graves had 10 rebounds.
Kristy Marapese paced Struthers (3-9) with 20 points.
Southington 53, Lutheran East 41: CLEVELAND HTS. -- Becca Derr scored 22 points -- nine in the second quarter -- and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Southington past Lutheran East.
The Wildcats out-scored Lutheran East (2-8, 2-6 East Suburban Conference) 14-3 in the second quarter. Lindsay Byer added 10 points for Southington (6-7, 4-4).
Boys: GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Deacon Jones had a double-double with 24 points and 14 assists as Reynolds beat Shenango 85-60 to win its fourth straight game.
Tom McIntyre led all scorers with 35 points and Dan Kilgore added 12 for Reynolds (7-7).
Jeff Grosetti led Shenango (7-10) with 14 points.
Beaver Falls defeated Sharon 69-64 and Neshannock defeated Rochester 86-49. Details of these games were not reported.
