Published: Sun, January 13, 2002 @ 12:00 a.m.

NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Charges against a 78-year-old Highland Avenue man were bound for court Friday by District Justice Melissa Amodie.

Robert Semler faces two counts of criminal trespass after trying to gain access to the Lawrence County Government Center on New Year's Eve.

Semler has been barred from the building by the county solicitor after throwing a toothbrush at a county commissioner at a public meeting.

He faces charges of disrupting a public meeting and disorderly conduct.

His preliminary hearing for those charges is Feb. 1.
