FARM SHOW More winners

Mercer and Lawrence County residents who won or placed in their respective categories were:

Jeremy Barber of Stoneboro: Reserve Champion Heifer Calf and Reserve Grand Champion Heifer in the Maine Anjou beef cattle division.

Star Charmer Farm of Sandy Lake: Ninth place in the Pair of Dorset Ewe Lambs competition.

Scott Thomas of Enon Valley: First place in the Sew Much More-Quillo contest in 4-H Textile Science competition. A quillo is a quilt that folds into a pillow.

Patricia Schry of West Pittsburg: First place in the Honey Yeast Breads competition in the Apiary Products division.

Frank Raiti of Greenville: Third place in the Alfalfa Hay Later Cutting Field Dried competition.

Christine Benninghoff of Lawrence County: Champion Dorset Lamb in the Junior Market Lamb Show.

Crazy Eights, a dance troupe from Bessemer: First place tie in the Folk Dance competition in the "Between 15 and 25 Years of Age" category.

Andrew McKissick of New Castle: Seventh place in the Five-Year-Old Jersey Cow competition.
