Newly inducted officers announce their theme for the new season.
GIRARD -- Michelle Haviland and Thomas Mohn were installed as worthy matron and worthy patron respectively of Sunrise Chapter 458, OES, at a special meeting held Dec. 5 at the Girard Masonic Temple.
The installation ceremony was conducted by Rose Bartlomain, past matron, and Joseph Bartlomain, past patron, assisted by Patrick C. Pinney, marshal; Frederick McWilliams, chaplain; and Sally Sampson, organist and past matron of Palmy Chapter.
Also participating were Nancy Bartlomain, Lois Ridge, Jane Bell and Robert Crew.
Inducted as associate officers for 2002 were Mildred Beck, associate matron; Joseph Tufaro, associate patron; Janet Baumann, secretary; John Beck, treasurer; Barbara Gulas, conductress; Rose Bartlomain, associate conductress; James Lodwick, chaplain; Patrick Pinney, marshal; Margaret Best, organist; Sandra Crew, Adah; Jean Collins, Ruth; Carol Pinney, Esther; Dorothea Cochrane, Martha; Diane Schuller, Electa; Lucille Boles, warder; and Sue Boles, sentinel.
Lois Ridge, Wanda Lodwick and Jane Bell will serve as pages, and Frederick McWilliams, Lucille Boles and Sandra Crew will be trustees.
The newly installed officers have chosen "To Everything There is a Season" as the chapter's theme for 2002.
New leaders: Haviland and her husband, Chap, and their family are Girard residents, and Mohn and his wife, Shirley, live in Liberty Township.
Nancy Bartlomain and her family were in charge of the reception and assisted by members of the Ida McKinley Chapter of Niles.
