POLAND -- Tami Marie Pichitino and Arthur Dominic Volpini, both of Poland, were married Dec. 1 at Holy Family Church.
Monsignor William Connell and the Rev. Benson Claret Okpara officiated for the daughter of John and Dixie Pichitino of Poland and the son of Rosanne Volpini of Poland and Arthur J. Volpini of Boardman.
A reception took place at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman. The couple spent their honeymoon in Aruba and are living in Poland.
A white A-line gown with an empire waistline was worn by the bride. The bodice was enhanced with pearl beading, and the skirt fell to a chapel train. She wore an elbow-length veil.
Matron of honor was Kim Butch, and maid of honor was Michelle Rose. They wore garnet gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Connie Wolgemuth and Stephanie Volpini, the groom's sisters; Brittany Pahon; Tiffany Skowronski; Tricia DeFelice; Clare Copperwheat; and Beth Cash.
David Petko and Frank Pezzano shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Jay Pichitino, the bride's brother; Tony Wolgemuth; Joe Capone; Kevin Hartley; Don Kurjan; Eric Behnke; and Sam Geraci.
Also participating were Tim Matis, Melanie Kurjan, and Jordan, Kyle and Mandi Napierala.
The couple are graduates of Youngstown State University. Mrs. Volpini is employed by the Mahoning County Educational Service Center, Youngstown, and her husband works for United Community Financial Corp., Youngstown.
