WARREN -- M. Wayne Benson will be the keynote speaker when First Assembly of God presents the Where Training and Need Meet in Ministry seminars Feb. 8 and 9.
Benson, is the new president of Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo. He and his wife, Kathy, are founders of Paraclete Ministries, an organization that encourages and equips pastors and missionaries in the United States and developing countries.
Youth seminars will be led by the Rev. Mark Canfield, life development director for Pinellas Community Church in St. Petersburg, Fla. Pinellas Community Church is recognized as a purpose-driven model by Pastor Rick Warren, author of "Purpose Driven Church."
The founders of Children's Ministry Today, the Rev. Gary Linn and his wife, the Rev. Alisa Linn, will conduct seminars on children's ministry.
The Children's Ministry Today equips and trains more than 6,000 children's ministry leaders through e-mail support, an online ministry school, supplies and the Children's Pastor's Network, a listing of leaders in more than 40 countries for networking, sharing ideas and support.
The seminars start at 6 p.m. Feb. 8 with dinner, a general assembly and a breakout session. Events are 8 a.m. through 4 p.m. Feb. 9.
The cost is $15 per day or $25 for both days, including meals. There is a special price for couples attending both days

Gospel expo set
GIRARD -- The nonprofit North East Ohio Gospel Music Connection's music expo designed for solo artist, ensembles and choirs will be Jan. 11 and 12 at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex.
Businessman Frankie Halfacre will be the host of "Jazz and its history to Gospel," from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 11.
The expo ends at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 12 with the "God's Covenant with Man Conference." The speaker will be the nationally known recording artist Kenny Eldridge of Youngstown.

YOUNGSTOWN -- Harvest of Souls 2002 New Year's Revival will have services next week, all at 7 p.m.

Art displayed
COLUMBIANA -- Four drawings of the Four Stations of the Nativity that were sketched for Jerusalem Lutheran Church will be on display from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.
The sketches were made by Jason Conrad Nickel, a professor of art at Toledo State and Bowling Green universities.
Refreshments will be served.
Cult awareness
CORTLAND -- Cortland Trinity Baptist Church will conduct a "Cult Awareness Sunday" at 9:30 and 11:20 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday.
Bob Anderson of the Watchman Fellowship will be guest speaker. His messages will include "Eight Fundamental Truths of Christianity, Patterns in the Cults and Space Age Heresies: a Discussion of the New Age Movement."
