Published: Fri, January 4, 2002 @ 12:00 a.m.

YOUNGSTOWN -- Two Salem women who died in a car crash around 2:30 a.m. Thursday on Market Street have been identified as Nicole Barlow, 23, of Cunningham Road, and Donel Morlan, 20, of Liberty Street.

Both were passengers in a 1992 Chevrolet Corsica that hit a utility pole then spun back onto the road and collided head-on with a 2000 Honda.

The driver of the Corsica, Megan Buchanan, 19, of Euclid Street, Salem, suffered a leg injury.

The driver of the Honda, Scott A. Ensign, 23, of West Boulevard, Boardman, was charged with DUI. Ensign pleaded innocent at arraignment Thursday in municipal court. He will be back in court March 19 for a pretrial hearing.
