CANFIELD CITY

Feb. 22:

Drug paraphernalia: The assistant high school principal at Canfield High School, 100 Cardinal Drive, found a brown pipe with suspected marijuana residue in the bowl, and turned it over to the juvenile officer.

Drugs: A 20-year-old Canfield man and his 46-year-old mother were arrested after police stopped the man on a traffic violation on West Main Street and found he had a suspended license and three marijuana cigarettes in his vehicle. He was charged with drug abuse, marijuana and driving under suspension. His mother, who followed him in another vehicle, was charged with wrongful entrustment for allowing him to drive the vehicle when she knew his license was suspended.

Feb. 17

Criminal damaging: The front, rear and driver's side windows to a vehicle were broken out in the residential 700 block of Purdue Avenue.

Theft: Beer was stolen and a 6-foot-by-8-foot glass damaged at True North gas station, 3670 S. Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: A window, screen, shutter and lighting were broken with a baseball bat in the 700 block of Purdue Avenue.

Missing person: A 20-year-old female was reported missing in the 3000 block of Timber Lane.

Feb. 18

Theft: A gasoline drive-off was reported at the BP gas station, 3602 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A gasoline drive-off was reported at the BP gas station, 3107 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Feb. 19

Theft: Numerous items were stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Claridge Drive.

Breaking and entering: A model home garage was entered and building materials stolen at 5222 Nashua Drive.

Theft: Numerous items were reported stolen Feb. 16 at the BP gas station, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A leather purse was stolen from a woman at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Avenue.

Aggravated robbery: $386 in assorted currency was stolen by an unknown male at Motel 6, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: $1,000 was taken from a coat at Motel 6, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A laptop computer was stolen in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle at Sears, 6009 Mahoning Ave.

Feb. 20

Criminal damage: Two Regatta 14-inch tires were damaged with sharp objects at Bill's Place parking lot, 4771 Mahoning Avenue.

Criminal damage: A tire was damaged with a sharp object at Bill's Place parking lot, 4771 Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: $20 in change was stolen from a room at Austinwoods Nursing Home, 4780 Kirk Road.

Theft: A 15-inch alloy wheel with a Tiger Paw radial on it was stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Fitch Boulevard.

Theft: A trailer with a snowmobile was stolen from the 6000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Criminal damage: A summons was issued for a male suspect who was arrested in a case of criminal damaging in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.

Burglary: Two men were arrested in connection with a burglary in the 300 block of South Edgehill Avenue and an attempted burglary in the 300 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Burglary: An apartment in the 100 block of Westchester Drive was entered by unknown means and $65 in cash and a check were taken.

Burglary: There were no signs of forced entry in a burglary in the 200 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Feb. 21

Criminal damage: Two vehicle windows were broken at King Kar Motors, 4120 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An Adidas jacket and keys were stolen from the Community Center, 4562 Falcon Drive.

Criminal damage: Eighty to 100 feet of lawn was damaged in the 1000 block of Signature Place.

Theft: Restaurant equipment was stolen by a former tenant at Sandy's Bar, 4740 Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: $13 in gasoline was reported stolen at True North gas station, 4200 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: A Sony Playstation was reported stolen from an apartment in the 1000 block of Four Seasons Trail.

Drug offense: A man was charged with drug abuse/cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia at Motel 6, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.

Feb. 22

Theft: Numerous power tools were reported stolen from a vehicle at Gavo Sports Bar, 3661 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Bedspreads were stolen from a room at Motel 6, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft from auto: Three hamburgers were reported stolen from a vehicle at Phar-Mor, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Feb. 23

Theft: Two cases of beer were stolen in the 3000 block of South Meridian Road.

Criminal damage: About 100 to 150 feet of lawn was damaged in the 1000 block of Signature Drive.

Theft: $23 worth of gasoline was stolen from the BP gas station, 890 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: A male juvenile was arrested on a theft charge at Wal-Mart, 6011 Mahoning Ave., and was released to his uncle.

Criminal damage: Vehicle tires were cut, the sides scratched and an antenna stolen from a vehicle parked at Bill's Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Credit cards, a checkbook and $40 in cash were reported stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Theft: $5 in makeup was stolen by a female juvenile at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
