Butler Institute of American Art to be setting for student recital

YOUNGSTOWN -- The Youngstown Music Teachers Association will present a group of students in a free, public recital to be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave.

The following will be featured at the concert: Adrienne Petrella, Emily Lawson, Alex Hames, Alexandra Fuentes, Nicholas Hunter, Salvatore Maiorana, Matthew Yager, Brittany Roche, Courtney Tamulonis, Dena Tufaro, Kristi Yazvac, Randi Yazvac and Katie Yazvac.

The musicians will represent the following teachers: Rutheda Schmidt, Audrey Rhinehart, Fanny DiDomenico, Rick Barber, Sister M. Germaine, Frank Tarantino and Diane Yazvac.

A highlight of the event will be a special performance by Patricia Seachman, a flutist and the winner of the Youngstown Music Teachers' Scholarship Award.

Diane Yazvac is chairperson for the recital. The president of YMTA is Sister M. Germaine.
