Scouting report: The Penguins lost their 11th straight game on Thursday to Cleveland State 58-48. The Penguins are also winless on the road this season in 13 games. The 20 losses, reached for only the eighth time in school history, are the worst for the Penguins since the 1993-94 season. Butler, a 77-74 winner at UW-Green Bay on Thursday, has a streak going the other way as the Bulldogs have won seven straight.
The series: This will be the third meeting between the two teams; the Penguins are 1-1 against the Bulldogs. Butler won the first meeting this season back on Jan. 12, 68-50. The Penguins defeated the Bulldogs 90-79 when they met at Beeghly Center in 1983-84.
