Both Geneva College teams lose to Point Park in AMC

WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. -- Dimitar Simovski and Marco Sanders combined for 41 points as Point Park College defeated Geneva 81-50 on Tuesday.
Simovski had 21 points, while Sanders added 20 points. Khalid Loda also had 16 points and 13 rebounds and Shaun Peters 13 points for Point Park (13-9, 11-6 American Mideast Conference), which clinched at least one home playoff game.
Geneva (15-12, 6-10) was led by Jerome Moss with 13 points and Stefan Grundberg with 10.
Women: WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. -- Amy Frederick scored a game- and career-high 24 points to lead Point Park to a 74-60 victory over Geneva. It was Point Park's first conference win of the season.
Krystal Shirk and Dena Hopper each added 10 points for Point Park (3-21, 1-17 AMC).
Renee Freeman had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead Geneva (9-16, 7-11). Sabrina Adams added 12 points, while Truly Norman and Erica Lewis had 10 each.
