CANFIELD -- James and Patricia Nellis, 448 Greenmont Drive, announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Elizabeth Nellis, 100 Curl Drive, Jones Tower, Columbus, and Christopher John Burnside, 1400 Cross Creek, Columbus.
Parents of the future groom are Lawrence and Karen Burnside, 4462 Mellinger Road.
Miss Nellis graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in advertising and is pursuing a master's in business administration at Ohio State University, Columbus. She is a graduate assistant in marketing at OSU's Fisher College of Business, Career Services.
Mr. Burnside earned a bachelor's degree in English at KSU. He is a manager at Lazarus in Columbus.
The couple will exchange vows during an open ceremony planned for 1:30 p.m. June 22 at St. Michael Church. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at Tippecanoe Country Club.
