Proceeds from the third annual event will benefit the group's scholarship fund.
BOARDMAN -- Yo-Mah-O Chapter, International Association of Administrative Professionals, will sponsor its third annual reverse raffle scholarship fund-raising dinner March 9 at Mr. Anthony's.
"Caribbean Dreams" is the theme of the event, which will get under way at 6 p.m. with a social time. Dinner will be served at 7.
Details: There will be 100 tickets sold for $4,000 in cash prizes, giving ticketholders a one-in-five chance of winning $100 and a one-in-100 chance of winning the grand prize of $2,000.
A Chinese auction of merchandise and gift certificates, a miniboard raffle and 50/50 raffles are also planned. There will be a cash bar.
The cost of a reverse raffle ticket is $100 per person and includes dinner. Additional guest dinner tickets are $25 each. Dinner entrees are a choice of braised Swiss steak or chicken francaise. Tickets may be obtained by calling (330) 793-3316 or (330) 332-5259.
Proceeds will benefit the chapter's scholarship fund for students who need financial assistance.
In charge: Arrangements for the event are being made by Joan Battagline, chapter president; Marlene Dailey and Mary Lou Weingart, co-chairmen; and Christine Simone, ways and means committee member. Assisting with plans are Barbara Sofranec, president-elect, and Peggy Davis, Milissa Ferraro, Mary Ella Kronstad, Andrea McConnaughy, Mary Lynn Pavone, Patricia Roberts and Deborah Yiannaki.
