Information on scholarships that are available to accounting students will be presented at the event.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants will hold an annual Student Guest Night Feb. 20 in the Jones Room at Kilcawley Center on the campus of Youngstown State University.
Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:15.
The cost will be $12 for nonstudents. There will be no charge for accounting students from area colleges and universities.

The program will feature a panel discussion on "Accounting in the Real World: What Do Accountants Really Do?" Speakers will include Chris Gabrick, a partner at Schroedel, Scullin and Bestic, LLC; Susan Merriman, a clerk-treasurer at the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County; and Catherine Turney, an assistant controller with Miller-Holzwarth Inc.
Details: The chapter will provide information on the $1,000 scholarship award to be presented to an accounting student at YSU for the fall semester of 2002. Applications will be available for scholarships to be awarded at the national level by ASWA.
