Invitations were issued for the discussion.
WARREN -- Mayor Hank Angelo is stumping for small businesses.
In an attempt to stimulate his city's growth, the mayor will hold a roundtable discussion Wednesday as part of a program called Partner America.
It's the nation's first partnership of mayors, government agencies and private enterprises that encourages development and growth of small business. Partner America will be implemented in hundreds of cities across the nation over the next decade.
Angelo's roundtable will be at the Park Hotel, 136 N. Park Ave., and he will be available for discussion afterward. Invitations have been issued for the event.
Speakers: The event begins at 9 a.m. with breakfast and will include remarks by Angelo and members of Partner America, Warren Redevelopment and Planning, Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Partner America is a public-private partnership created by the U.S. Conference of Mayors and American Management Services to help businesses improve profits and sales through management and technical assistance.
For more information, go to www.partneramerica.com or call (877)778-6726.
Assessment: Partner America offers business owners a complete objective assessment of the businesses' real performances and profit opportunities and a comparative review of performance.
It also gives direct referral to important government resource programs such as direct loans, technical assistance and more.
