YOUNGSTOWN -- Stacey Lee Walters of Niles became the bride of Matthew Christopher Emch, 3841 Nottingham Ave., Austintown, in a ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 29 at St. Maron Church.
The Rev. Anthony Salim officiated for the daughter of Grant Walters and Sandra and Dennis Watkins, all of Niles, and the son of Kenneth and Elizabeth Emch of the Austintown address.
After a reception at McMenamy's in Niles, the couple left for Miami and a Caribbean cruise. They live in Niles.
The bride, who owns Shining Stars Dance and Baton of Niles, is also an instructor and adviser with Youngstown State University majorette and dance team and Niles McKinley High School majorettes. She is pursuing a degree in physical education at YSU.
The groom is the owner and a personal trainer at X-Treme Sports and Athletic Training Center in Niles and works part time at McMenamy's. He attended YSU.
The bride wore her mother's wedding dress and veil. The strapless A-line dress featured a tulle skirt and cathedral-length train.
Tara Watkins was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Lindi Walters, Christine Emch-Thompson, Julie Emch-Becker, Lisa Emch, Lori Ramsey, Becky Riehl and Nicole Basiano. Junior bridesmaid was Samantha May, and flower girls were Alexandra Watkins, Marie Emch and Laura Emch.
Dr. Kenneth Emch was best man. Groomsmen were Greg Emch, Matt Thompson, John Becker, Joshua Sabo, Doug Watkins, Rick Thomas and Joe Nohra. Kenneth Emch Jr. was ring bearer.
