POLAND -- Monsignor William Connell presided as Patricia D. Matthews, 11 Massachusetts Ave., and Keith H. Roberts, 1184 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 5 at Holy Family Church.
After a reception at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center in Mill Creek Park, the couple left on a wedding trip to Nemicolin, Pa. They live at the bride's address.
The bride is a daughter of Joen Matthews of Las Cruces, N.M., and the late Thomas Matthews. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Del Fletcher of New Castle, Pa.
Given in marriage by her brother, Steve Matthews, the bride wore a sleeveless ivory A-line gown that was enhanced with a sheer fur-lined wrap.
Black gowns were worn by Sarah Rowney, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaid, Pam KuKura.
Best man was Dan Matthews, and groomsman was John Matthews, the bride's brothers. The bride's son, Joseph Vukovich, was ring bearer. Also participating were Zachary Cristoff, Mark Riffel and Brian Witt.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree at Kent State University and a master's in education at Youngstown State University. She is a part-time faculty member in the reading and study skills program at YSU.
The groom, a therapist for men's programming at Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic in Youngstown, holds a bachelor's degree in business from YSU and a master's in counseling from KSU.
